Mary McKeever

Mary McKeever (pictured on right) was born and raised in the heartland of America at Davenport, Iowa. In knowing her for over 25 years, we are honored by her friendship and blessed with the opportunity to help her in the work God has given her to do. Her Christ-like spirit, her faithful witness and her infectious trust in the Lord are a great testimony to her relationship with God to the glory of His grace and His love.

Mary's concern for Peter Onyango's ministry in Kenya is genuine, her assistance to his work is sacrificial and her integrity is without question. Please help us help her help Peter!

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from University of Dubuque, Dubuque IA, 1970.

Masters Degree in Social Work, University of Illinois, Chicago, in a combined program with McCormick Theological Seminary with a Certificate in Church and Community, 1973.

Experience

Coordinator of the Lake View Pantry, (Chicago), 1973-1976.

Worked at High's Ice Cream Stores. During this time Mary was developing artistic skills and being discipled by Paul and Helen Morris (1977-1984)

Working with Worldwide Discipleship Association, Campus staff, at Purdue University (W. Lafayette, IN), 1984-present. Beginning in 2005, she has shared time in ministry at DePauw University, 1 day/week. Witnessing for Jesus Christ and discipling college students to Him.

Missionary trips with WDA to Kenya and Tanzania in 1994, 1996, 2000.

Missionary trips to Kenya and Uganda in 2006 and 2009, continuing to develop ministry relationships and teaching the WDA 28/20 Discipleship Seminar in 3 locations.
