If you do not know Jesus . . .

I can know Jesus personally?

Think of it!  The Creator of the universe has made a way for you to have a personal relationship with Him!

How can I know Jesus?

When you put your faith in Him, you know Him through the Holy Spirit.  This is not “hocus-pocus!” God the Father, through the sacrifice for you of His only begotten Son on the Cross, comes to you, lives in you, by His Holy Spirit.

To know One, is to know Them All!  They are “Three- in-One.”

Why do I want to know Jesus?

Jesus said that He is the “Way” to God; His Word is the “Truth” of God; the Life He brings to us by the Holy Spirit is the only source of eternal life!  There’s no other way!
 

Why did Jesus die on the cross for me?

Are you perfect?  Is anybody perfect?  NO!  Since the fall of Adam and Eve, we are all born with a selfish nature and a heart full of pride, and a lot of other bad things we won’t mention.  We cannot stand before God with such a nature.  If someone sins, then someone pays.

Jesus really wants to live with you!  He loves you infinitely! “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

The Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the ultimate price for the sins of the whole world for all time.  Jesus bore on the Cross the punishment you deserve. 

The only One good enough to point a finger at you, did not condemn you…He died for you!  And as the life in His body ebbed away, He cried out, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing!”

Jesus wants to save you from a lifestyle of sin and darkness and flood your heart with His Holy Spirit.  He wants to be your friend.

What do I have to do to get to know Jesus?

As you read this, do you feel a tug in your heart?  Do these words ring true to you?  Do you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins?  If you do, it is a priceless gift from God Almighty! 

Pray!  Talk to God.  He is with you all the time, waiting for you to speak to Him.  Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to help you live for Him.  Ask Jesus to come into your heart by His Holy Spirit.  Thank Him, by the gift of faith He has given you, for what He has done for you.

Read your Bible.  Read it like a love-letter that He wrote to you.  Begin in the Gospel of John.

Go to church regularly.  You will face many trials and struggles as you begin your new life in Christ.  You will need fellowship with other believers who know Him.  They can help you.
